ELKA Strong Board 1220 x 2440 x 12mm
A highly diffusion open, structural wood particle board 12mm thick, 1220 x 2440mm intended for use in load bearing structural elements in humid condition and is categorised as a P5 racking board.
When compared to a standard OSB3 panel, ESB has a significantly lower diffusion resistance factor and is an ideal solution for allowing vapour movement in diffusion open constructions.
- Suitable for both internal use alongside an intelligent vapour control layer such as INTELLO PLUS, and externally with a breather membrane such as SOLITEX FRONTA WA.
- Greater transverse tensile strength than OSB3 thus producing optimum screw and nail extraction rates.
- Panels are largely odour-neutral and support healthy home environment. ESB panels are made solely from virgin wood without any harmful additives.
- ESB panels (P5) are fabricated in accordance with EN 312. They can be supplied in FSC®- certified and/or PEFC- certified quality and carry the CE mark for conformity.
